Mikayla with Homan Weddings & Events was nothing less than amazing to work with!
Very personable to talk to and precise with every aspect we wanted in the process of our wedding planning. She gives you all the time and details that you need to completely take away the stressors of what weddings can bring. She makes it feel effortless when it comes to details in the planning. 10/10 recommend and am so lucky to of not only found an event coordinator but made a forever friend.

Mikayla is amazing!!!! We could not have done it without her! We decided we needed a day of coordinator kind of later in the planning process but as soon as we booked her she started helping so much with ideas and suggestions! She asked us about some things that we literally hadn’t thought of, and she helped us come up with a day of schedule when we were totally lost. She showed up for our rehearsal the day before, and the day of she was the first person at the venue setting up and last to leave after helping clean up. She is INCREDIBLE. Very professional, and task oriented but was never overbearing. Super helpful, kind, efficient communicator, and just a really awesome person. 2022 Summer Bride here - We had the best experience with Homan Weddings thanks to Mikayla. We hired Mikayla for Day of Coordination, but in truth wish we’d hired her sooner to take care of everything from the beginning. The few weeks leading up to the wedding I was able to hand almost all the responsibilities to her including venue/vendor coordinating and timeline planning. On the wedding day she executed our plans flawlessly and made our vision come to life, better than I could have imagined. I seriously did not have to lift a finger and neither did any of my family or friends (which was a priority). She set up the décor, repurposed flowers, DJ’d our ceremony and cocktail hour, was busting plates/glasses, made my husband and I our dinner plates, and countless other things that made the day run smoothly.
When the venue was unable to provide s’mores for the fire pit reception we had planned, she sent her assistant out for all the ingredients and wooden stakes. It was so amazing to roast s’mores over the fire alongside the river with my friends and family and was truly a special moment I will cherish because she went the extra mile (LITERALLY!) Not only is Mikayla a professional but she is also kind, patient, friendly, and can get things done with an authority to be respected. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding (or any event for that matter) coordinator that they can place all their trust in. The number one thing I was told over and over by my guests was how relaxed I was during my wedding and that is because of Homan Weddings.- Kimberly

Mikayla could not have been more perfect for our wedding! She made sure every little detail was handled and made sure we were able to relax and enjoy the day. She made the whole process extremely seamless, from helping contact the vendors to making sure everyone was on the same page. Originally, we were not sure if we were going to hire a coordinator. We were put in contact with Mikayla from another vendor, and after meeting her, we instantly knew we wanted her to be a part of our wedding. Mikayla is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about what she does and will stop at nothing to make sure the day is perfect. Hiring Mikayla was one of the best decisions we made, she lets you feel like you are talking with an childhood friend while planning the details. We booked Mikayla relatively late in to our wedding planning. We initially had no plan to have a coordinator but with so much else going on in our lives we chose to have one for the day before and day of. Turns out, when you book Mikayla even for day of coordination you will get her full attention. By the time things were said and done it felt like we had been working with a coordinator the entire time. We can only imagine how much easier our lives would have been had she been involved from the beginning. We got multiple comments throughout the night about how much hustle she had and while we had our own plan in our heads and done a lot of footwork for our wedding, Mikayla made it all come to life evening helping bringing decor from her inventory. When my fiancé and I first got engaged, the excitement and enthusiasm overwhelmed me and I was so eager to dive into wedding planning. Before I even got to tour my venue, I realized that planning a wedding is not my strength, and that I needed HELP.
